Alta 17% Supercharger Pulley
While MINI may have given the Gen1 Cooper "S" owners a literal boost over standard Coopers there is no reason to be comfortable with 163HP. One of the best ways to turn up the power is to turn up the boost with our Alta Supercharger Pulley for your Gen1 MINI Cooper S.

ALTA was the first manufacturer to design a two piece, taper fit Mini Cooper Supercharger Pulley. Today, it's the most imitated design on the market. Their latest version of the ALTA pulley has taken pulley design to the next level. Installation is easier than ever, and the results are even more fantastic.

Gates Supercharger Belt
When your Gen 1 MINI Cooper S gets into the higher miles, or you're installing a new Supercharger pulley, it's time to start thinking about replacing your belts. If you're installing a smaller supercharger pulley you will need a smaller belt to reduce the slack and allow the belt tensioner to work properly. Gates belts are used by MINI as their OEM belt supplier and trusted in racing conditions due to their high quality design.

Alta Belt Tensioner Stop
The Alta belt tensioner stop for the Gen1 MINI Cooper S is an inexpensive and easy to install part that will add peace of mind and save you money in the event of a belt failure on your MINI. This device installs around the tensioner damper and prevents the dampener from over expansion in the event of the belt breaking, potentially saving days of downtime and hundreds of dollars repair charges. Just slip the tensioner stop over the forward damper bolt and installation is complete. This is an excellent part to install whenever you change your timing belt or upgrade your supercharger/crank pulley.

Gates belt #K060535 is 1379mm and works with both a 15% or 17% pulley with stock crank pulley. The Gates belt # K060539 is 1385mm and works with the 15% or 17% supercharger pulley with a 2% crank pulley. If you do not have a stock overdrive crank pulley please specify in the order notes so we can ensure you receive the correct size belt. If no mention of your crank pulley is made customers will receive Gates belt K060535 (1379mm) by default.

NOTE 2: If you do not have a stock overdrive crank pulley please specify in the order notes so we can ensure you receive the correct size belt. If no mention of your crank pulley is made customers will receive Gates belt K060535 (1379mm) by default.

The vast majority of orders ship out the same business day and are delivered within just 1-3 business days, this includes our Free Shipping service. On the very rare occasions when an order will not ship right away customers will be emailed promptly with an estimated ship date and the option to cancel or remain on order. Brands that ship from international locations such as Milltek typically take between 4-7 business days to be delivered.
Free shipping
We offer speedy free shipping to the continental US for orders of $200 or more. For those customers placing orders of less than $200 we offer a standard flat rate fee of $9.99. Customers either pay $9.99 or nothing for shipping - no surprises at checkout! The majority of orders are delivered within 1-3 business days using the free shipping option, however some orders can take up to 5 business days depending on your location.
Billing Address
This statement is only meant for customers paying via credit or debit card. If you're using PayPal, Affirm, ApplePay, etc. - no additional verification is necessary. It's best to use the billing address that's on file with the credit card company as the shipping address. Some orders that request shipping to an address other than the authorized credit card billing address will require additional verification and may be subject to processing delays.
Returns
Our return policy allows customers to return most orders within 30 days (7 days for AutoTecknic parts). Customers are responsible for any shipping fees associated with a return and the restocking fee. All parts must be in 100% brand new condition. Return requests must be made via email.
