All IND E90 E92 E93 M3 front grille sets are painted in-house by thier certified paint staff. We prefer the use of OEM parts, but for areas of the vehicle that are prone to road debris and various other damage we utilize a matte black ABS base. As a result if anything contacts the paint service hard enough to break paint you will not be left with a a glaring chrome surface, but a more subtle matte black imperfection.
