Product Description
Helix is the proud innovator of the world's first MINI Cooper Stepped-Core Intercooler (SCIC) for the MINI Cooper S R56 Gen2. The Helix SCIC has a bigger frontal ambient face and a thicker-than-stock core that seals to the radiator fan/shroud. The cast endtanks have factory charge pipe angles. Our latest revision has greatly improved airflow through the end tanks and features a greater fin density than our previous intercoolers--It's the highest fin density on the market. From this we have achieved our best-ever thermal transfer and temperature recovery rate. The core of the Helix SCIC flows 250 horsepower with only a 0.5PSI pressure drop. Installation is relatively straight forward and requires no cutting, drilling or permanent modifications to your MINI. It fits the later MINIs with the extra crash support without cutting or modification. Attached is a video of the Helix tech, Ralph, installing a Helix Intercooler in a MINI.

Helix intercoolers now come with integrated mounting tabs that utilize the stock rubber bushings to soft mount the cooler directly to the chassis.
Delivery
The vast majority of orders ship out the same business day and are delivered within just 1-3 business days, this includes our Free Shipping service. On the very rare occasions when an order will not ship right away customers will be emailed promptly with an estimated ship date and the option to cancel or remain on order. Brands that ship from international locations such as Milltek typically take between 4-7 business days to be delivered.
Free shipping
We offer speedy free shipping to the continental US for orders of $200 or more. For those customers placing orders of less than $200 we offer a standard flat rate fee of $9.99. Customers either pay $9.99 or nothing for shipping - no surprises at checkout! The majority of orders are delivered within 1-3 business days using the free shipping option, however some orders can take up to 5 business days depending on your location.
Billing Address
This statement is only meant for customers paying via credit or debit card. If you're using PayPal, Affirm, ApplePay, etc. - no additional verification is necessary. It's best to use the billing address that's on file with the credit card company as the shipping address. Some orders that request shipping to an address other than the authorized credit card billing address will require additional verification and may be subject to processing delays.
Returns
Our return policy allows customers to return most orders within 30 days (7 days for AutoTecknic parts). Customers are responsible for any shipping fees associated with a return and the restocking fee. All parts must be in 100% brand new condition. Return requests must be made via email.
