Product Description
The AEM 21-640C Performance Cold Air Intake System produces horsepower and torque gains by replacing your vehicle's restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. This air intake system was designed, tuned and dyno-tested to fit specific Mazda MX-5 and MX-5 Miata models. Air enters the system through an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter for outstanding air flow, filtration and performance. The air filter is relocated to the inside of the front bumper on the driver's side which is designed to reduce intake air temperature and increase horsepower. The intake tubing is constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum featuring a durable gunmetal gray powder coated finish. This air intake system was developed to accommodate the engine's factory emissions control devices including the mass air flow sensor. The tapered cylinder shaped AEM Dryflow air filter is made from an oil-free, synthetic filter media that can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed (depending on driving conditions). The air intake system is backed by AEM's Lifetime Limited Warranty. Some AEM air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are 50 state legal. Brands that ship from international locations such as Milltek typically take between 4-7 business days to be delivered.

We offer speedy free shipping to the continental US for orders of $200 or more. For those customers placing orders of less than $200 we offer a standard flat rate fee of $9.99. Customers either pay $9.99 or nothing for shipping - no surprises at checkout! The majority of orders are delivered within 1-3 business days using the free shipping option, however some orders can take up to 5 business days depending on your location.
Billing Address
This statement is only meant for customers paying via credit or debit card. If you're using PayPal, Affirm, ApplePay, etc. - no additional verification is necessary. It's best to use the billing address that's on file with the credit card company as the shipping address. Some orders that request shipping to an address other than the authorized credit card billing address will require additional verification and may be subject to processing delays.
Returns
Our return policy allows customers to return most orders within 30 days (7 days for AutoTecknic parts). Customers are responsible for any shipping fees associated with a return and the restocking fee. All parts must be in 100% brand new condition. Return requests must be made via email.
